chunghhoid (also known as TheLoyalHorse, or TLH) is a DiamondFire player and ex-moderator of the server best known within the Warlords community for creating RP Wars, the first game in the DiamondFire-Warlords community's history. Alongside n5Q, he's considered to be one of the two fathers of DiamondFire Executor RPs. An avid developer within DF, he is also known for his efforts in creating fully automated country strategy games.
In RP History
Sometime during late 2017, chunghhoid spoke to n5Q regarding a new game concept that n5Q had created. The idea of an Executor RP, which n5Q had previously tested through a proof of concept game, inspired chunghhoid to create his own project, which eventually became RP Wars.
Ambiguity over originality
It's worth mentioning that there is a lack of information over the circumstances that led to RP Wars' creation. It is known that the general Executor RP concept was n5Q's idea, and that he had sought to find somebody else with a high rank in DiamondFire to better execute his idea. In his book, Some Adjustments, n5Q states that "If I wanted to execute the concept in it's fullest and grandest, how it was intended, I would need access to things that were behind a paywall. Of course, I wasn't going to buy a rank. Instead, I opted to find someone that already had one, and perhaps even use them to assist in code as they were most likely more skilled than me." (pages 7-8) In n5Q's wording, it's clear that his original plan was not to just share his idea, but rather collaborate with a higher ranked and more skilled developer to jointly execute his vision on that plot. However, RP Wars ultimately had next to no involvement from n5Q, and it became more of a solo project by chunghhoid.
There is more evidence to suggest that the concept of RP Wars was almost entirely chunghhoid's idea. In Some Adjustments, n5Q indicates what his vision for an Executor RP would be, as well as his main inspiration being a Roblox game titled Risk Universalis. That game's premise was much more open-world and freeform, and in n5Q's follow-up project meant to emulate Risk Universalis, known as Risky Conquest, the game emulated more of a CreativeFun style moderator RP as opposed to any other DiamondFire RP game, including RP Wars. The last notable mention is that, in Some Adjustments, n5Q states that he had contacted multiple people with regards to the Executor RP concept, meaning that it's entirely possible that chunghhoid was only one potential collaborator to n5Q before ultimately parting ways, at which point chunghhoid would continue with RP Wars on his own. In any case, it seems like the Developmental genre, which started with RP Wars, was most likely chunghhoid's idea with n5Q having some credit in inspiring chunghhoid to pursue the concept.
After RP Wars
chunghhoid largely lost interest in Executor RPs after the conclusion of RP Wars, which ended in part due to his decreased commitment to hosting the game. He would allow other players to work on a sequel on the same plot that the original was hosted on but did not take a leading role in its development and went on to clear the plot as the other creators of the game stopped working on it. He would never create or participate in an Executor RP game again.
Sometime during 2020-2021, clumsycapy invited chunghhoid to visit Warlords. He declined.
In Automation History
Despite no longer being interested in the manually hosted RPs that define Warlords, he still enjoyed the concept of country games on DiamondFire, and would work on creating automated games over the years following RP Wars. One of his projects, Empires II, became a success on the server and built a small community around it.
In 2023, he began working on a new automated country game project titled Imperium, with moveable units and a simplified construction system to allow for more accessible mechanics. As of the publishing of this article, the game is still under development.
