Apocalypse was the debut game by _leopardcat_, and the fourth recorded game in DiamondFire Executor RP history. A small project based on Kingdoms 1, no other Warlords member played it, meaning that all information of the game is taken from leopardcat's limited firsthand recollection.

History

Sometime during Kingdoms 1's run, leopardcat, ruler of the Kingdom of Mushea, asked SenorConejo if he could create a game mechanically similar to Kingdoms 1. After Senor accepted, leopardcat would create Apocalypse.

Next to nothing is known about the mechanics of Apocalypse, except that it was generally based on Kingdoms 1's system and also had a player count of 4, meaning it presumably had players start on the corners of the map. According to leopardcat's 2019 book, Apocalypse, the game was never really played, with only one turn being hosted. The player's username remains unknown, but leopardcat describes him as having "blond hair, some white t-shirt and black shorts" and who later went on to play Kingdoms. The player had an overall negative reception of the game, saying he "didn't know what to do" and that "it wasn't good", and later stating that he had no recollection of ever playing Apocalypse.

Identifying the player

Efforts to identify the sole player of Apocalypse have largely been futile. Neither SenorConejo or clumsycapy have any recollection of the player in Kingdoms 1, and there is no database of players on DiamondFire in 2018 that could be analyzed. However, despite not remembering his username, leopardcat has a vivid recollection of his skin, and in 2023, drew up a composite sketch of the player's skin and clarified his 2019 description to state that the white t-shirt was more of a tank top.

Regardless of whether the player is identified and/or contacted, his lack of recollection of Apocalypse means that he would likely not be able to recall any of Kingdoms 1 or Apocalypse's history for the sake of history recording, meaning that any information about this game remains lost.
