Hypixel is a server that, as of the time of writing, is the largest Minecraft server in terms of player count. Within the server, a minigame named Hypixel Housing allows players to create their own plot of land in Creative mode. It models other typical Minecraft freebuild servers but differs in giving players added privacy through separate worlds, while also locking certain features that must either be unlocked in-game or obtained through paying real-world currency.
Within the Hypixel Housing communities, there exist at least two possibly independent Country RP communities. The first one was formed in the year 2021 by ProfessionalLoL, and is most likely extinct. The second one, formed in 2023 by _Action_Duck_, remains active as of December 23, 2023. No evidence currently exists linking the existence of the first to the second, and several key figures of the latter community report having no knowledge of ProfessionalLoL or MineCartBeast.
